This morning, our friends from Triangle Inc. and 6th & 7th graders of the Nipmuc Warriors Football and Cheerleading Team from Mendon and Upton, painted new accessible icons in our parking lot. As a proud supporter of the Accessible Icon Project, Combined Properties has been replacing the old handicap parking symbols, which depict a static and robotic figure, with this new and improved accessible icon at all of our properties. The new icon is a more accurate depiction of someone in a wheelchair – they’re active, able, and moving forward. The students, armed with a stencil, can of spray paint, and lots of enthusiasm, gave our parking spaces a makeover.
Keep up the great work Triangle and Nipmuc Warriors! Keep on moving forward!
