Combined Properties would like to congratulate Pat Morrow on her retirement after 32 years of service with the company. We believe it is extremely rare for someone to work for the same company for 32 years, but her longevity at Combined Properties speaks volumes about Pat. Her dedication to Combined Properties and her colleagues was unwavering.
Pat joined the company as controller and became chief financial officer in 1990. Pat transformed the accounting department into a modern, respected financial asset. Pat’s intelligence and diligence led the company from the age of physical ledger cards to an era when our accounting and management systems reside in the cloud with remote access and computing. Our lending banks and insurance companies had great respect and confidence in our financial reporting because of Pat’s expertise and knowledge but also, more importantly, Pat’s integrity.
Pat was a beloved ambassador for the company for many years. Pat joined the Malden Rotary and they made her president. Pat joined the Malden Chamber of Commerce and they made her president. Pat joined the board of the Malden YMCA and she resisted a draft to make her president as she served as treasurer. Pat was always recognized as a natural leader who led by example.
